2nd Annual Grub ‘n Grog Pirate Fundraiser Party

Inspired by the hard working, dedicated and professional charity group JOHNNY’S ANGELS, the VIPs (Vancouver Island Pirates) have decided to hold a Grub and Grog Pirate Party on July 25, 2009 with proceeds going to the BC Children’s Hospital.

While we are having fun as Pirates, it came to our attention to put our energies and ‘fun’ to good use and raise money for an excellent cause.  Since Pirates are for kids, our decision was to help those children in need.  Some of us donated our time, food, entertainment, prizes and advertising for this event.

The Hospital is in dire need for funding to complete the construction of their new and much needed larger facility.  Other proceeds will also cover maintenance and the continued proper care and attention the Hospital has given over the years to those children in need.  It gives me great pleasure to give a glimmer of hope to our future….savvy!
